Talent
development is often acknowledged as a strategic necessity for future focused
organisations who want to remain competitive. However, research from Gartner
suggests that only 23% of organisations develop talent effectively to meet
evolving business needs, and only 20% move talent in a smart way to address
skill gaps. This provides a genuine opportunity in terms of advancing your
career. If you can excel at talent development your utility and brand will be
enhanced, and you will be viewed as a standout leader who has impact both
individually and through others.
During this webinar a highly
experienced talent and leadership development specialist from the Bayes
Postgraduate Careers Team will:
- Contextualise
the opportunities and challenges for talent development in 2025 and how focusing
on this contributes to your own leadership success
- Explore
critical talent development strategies suitable for a diverse workforce,
considering career context and different motivations across generations
- Establish
how your own talent development toolkit could increase engagement, create a
culture of continuous improvement and reduce performance issues
- Promote
an approach that makes individuals feel seen and valued whilst maintaining
alignment with organisational
goals
This session is
recommended for any Bayes Postgraduate Alumni with people management and
leadership responsibilities who want to be intentional and effective in
developing talent that supports their own, and their organisation’s success.
