Career Activism: A Strategic Approach to Advancing Your Career

Wednesday 14th May, 6:15pm - 7:30pm (UK Time)

Career success isn’t just about working hard. It’s about working smart, feeling confident about your unique value proposition and evolving your profile to align with emerging opportunities. If you are wanting to develop a personalised strategy and have greater ownership for your career trajectory, this interactive webinar will be an excellent starting point.

During this session executive coaches from the Bayes Postgraduate Careers Team will share actionable insights on how to:

  • Adopt a ‘career activist’s mindset’ and focus on activities which create meaningful impact related to career progression
  • Apply a three-step framework based on self-assessment, opportunity assessment and smart execution to support informed career decisions and goal attainment
  • Create a ‘high potential’ profile which gets you noticed and ensures you are building a range of ‘in-demand’ competencies
  • Navigate some of the trickier contexts and decisions that arise when evaluating current career status and next moves

This session is recommended for early to mid-career Bayes Postgraduate Alumni wanting to adopt a proactive approach to career development, or more senior profiles seeking to support others with career planning and execution.
