The Global Ship Lease Scholarship for Women in Shipping was established in 2024, to actively support gender-diversification in a historically male-dominated industry. Global Ship Lease

The Company has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange since 2008, has offices in Athens, and is a project partner to Bayes Business School on the UK National Clean Maritime Research Hub.
