Morningstar Direct is available on designated terminals on site and is also available to access remotely. Users will have to request the login details for both on and off site access. 

The password will be updated every week on Monday at 09:30 UK time.

If you use the wrong password, the account will be locked for all users. If the account is locked, please email businesslibrary@city.ac.uk so library staff can unlock the account. If this happens outside Library opening hours, then the account will automatically unlock after 30 minutes.

Morningstar Direct are introducing multi factor authentication. This does not apply to our subscription. The format of the password has changed to include a special character. Select the 'Sign in' option. Do not select 'Sign in with SSO.'

City, University of London’s subscription to Morningstar Direct provides access to current staff and students for use in your studies and research.

This Morningstar Direct login must not be shared with anyone, whether in City or externally, and no data should be provided to any unauthorised user.  The licence only allows academic use and prohibits use of the data for any commercial purposes, meaning that you are not allowed to use the data on consulting projects or in connection with any other paid work. The University’s usage of Morningstar Direct is monitored and any unusual or unexpected usage is investigated and may result in a withdrawal of service and user access.
