GradVantage is a yearly employability programme run by City’s Careers & Employability team which offers recent graduates of colour career guidance and employability support. 


As part of the programme the graduates will be offered the opportunity to apply for exclusive 4- weeks project-based graduate placements offered by an internal City Department at the end of their studies.


We have funding for 11 internal work placements. The graduate will be employed and paid through Unitemps (City’s internal temporary recruitment service).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The funding is limited so we may not be able to accept all requests made for the scheme. We will therefore look at what projects will be most beneficial to the graduates and will aid the most development.
  • Application closing deadline: Friday 26th April 2024
  • You will be notified as to whether your project has been selected by Wednesday 1st May 2024.
  • Once a project has been approved, it will be advertised via Unitemps on the 3rd  June 2024 to the participants of the GradVantage Programme
  • Placements must start from the 1st July 2024 and must finish by the 26th July 2024 (due to the requirements of the funding).

    Interview Format:

    Once your placement has been confirmed and final exams are finished we will release the project to the eligible GradVantage graduate for a limited period. You will then receive your shortlist of applications to consider.
